Self-Esteem
Self-esteem is defined as confidence in one's own worth or abilities; having self-respect. People who struggle with low self-esteem can only see themselves in a negative light, focusing on their flaws and faults. This can result from a variety of issues such as family problems, discrimination, or a loss of control over some aspect of life. Therapy can help you adjust a distorted view of the self by teaching the strategies needed to overcome these feelings and learn to face challenges confidently. We can help you learn to love yourself and be proud of all the great aspects about you. We want you to believe in yourself, know what you are capable of and that you deserve great things in life.
